Artillery shell found in Tvarditsa, Bulgaria

A highly corroded 122m artillery shell was found in the town of Tvarditsa, Bulgaria. Following this, an army unit from Sliven was deployed to examine and dispose of the shell.

This comes one day after an unexploded shell was found near the South Bus Station in Sofia, temporarily closing the bus station.

Prior to this, The defence Ministry announced three separate operations were being carried out across Bulgaria to dispose of unexploded artillery shells.
